During “The Carol Burnett Show,” Tim Conway has a knack for causing his co-stars to lose their composure and break character for a solid five minutes.

The Carol Burnett Show was always hilarious! In this clip, the studio audience bursts into laughter during this hilarious sketch. The cast members themselves can’t help but burst into laughter at Tim Conway’s uproarious impromptu tale.

Conway’s fellow actors struggle to maintain their composure as he spontaneously weaves a tale involving a circus elephant. Carol Burnett rests her head in her hands while the rest of the cast, including Vicki Lawrence and Dick Van Dyke, look on.

Conway portrayed the character Mickey Hart while the family tried their hand at playing the game ‘Password’. Mickey, a character in Conway’s story, felt an overwhelming urge to share the tale of an elephant he had come across in the circus.

In the beginning of the clip, Conway humorously shares a story about an elephant and a trainer who develop a romantic relationship. According to him, they were laid to rest side by side once they passed away. The actors are visibly trembling and concealing their faces as they strive to regain their composure.
