One of the most-asked questions in the last few months, or more specifically since Kate Middleton’s last public appearance, is what is going on at Windsor behind closed doors.
Around the middle of January, the Princess of Wales had “planned” surgery on her abdomen. Since then, the Palace hasn’t said anything about her exact health or whereabouts, other than the statement that she was “doing well,” and they won’t share any more information until they think something truly important happens.
There was some good news for people in Britain and around the world who are keeping a close eye on Kate’s situation and the rumors going around about her health when the Minister of Defense said she would be at the Trooping the Colour dress rehearsal on June 8, before the big event on June 15.
It turned out to be a mistake, though, and Kate’s possible return to royal duty event has since been taken down from an Army website. GB News says that Kensington Palace was “not consulted” about how the Princess of Wales would look.
“It looks like the MoD made this announcement too quickly and didn’t talk to Kensington Palace first…”Victoria Ward, a royal reporter for the Telegraph, wrote on X, “We will have to wait to see if the PoW will be well enough to come.”
Also, Kate’s presence was mentioned more than once in the event’s summary.
“Her Royal Highness looked over Trooping the Color.” “The Princess of Wales is the same as Trooping the Color, which His Majesty the King looked over,” “Her Royal Highness looked over Trooping the Color.” “The Princess of Wales also brings 250 soldiers from the Foot Guards,” and “Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales, Colonel Irish Guards, will inspect the soldiers.”
The website got rid of all the information about Kate and the event, along with her picture from the home page.
The last time Kate was seen in public was a long time ago. This is very unusual for a royal of her rank.
A picture taken by TMZ was the last time people saw her. Some people said the picture was fake.
She also posted a picture of herself on Mother’s Day with her kids, but it turned out that some parts of the picture had been changed, which is why news organizations sent out “kill notices,” which tell people to take down or not use a certain picture.
“It looks like the source changed the picture,” the Associated Press message said.
In a separate statement, they said, “The Associated Press first published the photo, which was issued by Kensington Palace.” The AP later took down the picture because, upon closer inspection, it seems that the source had changed it in a way that didn’t follow AP’s photo standards. The picture shows that Princess Charlotte’s left hand is not lined up correctly.

Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, 2022, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, which was her private home. This ended her 70-year reign, which was the longest of any British monarch. The Palace didn’t say anything about the edited photo, but Kate chose to explain why it had “flaws.”
She wrote on her and William’s official X account, “Like many amateur photographers, I do sometimes try out editing.” I’m sorry that the picture of our family that we shared yesterday caused any confusion. I hope that everyone who celebrated Mother’s Day had a great day. C.”
Later, Kensington Palace said they would not be reissuing the original photo of Kate and her kids that had not been changed.
